Upon checkout,Little esentials Hire conducts a soft credit check to confirm identity and affordability. In most cases this is enough information to make a decision, however we may ask for one or two more details if necessary.  

For high value items we recommend you ensure your items are covered by your home insurance or take out separate insurance for the items as our insurance does not cover loss or theft.

Little Essentials Hire cover general wear and tear (scratches and small stains). They are to be expected. If the item is damaged beyond repair, lost, or stolen, we may charge you for the total estimated Replacement Value of the item. If the item is repairable, but the repair is expected to cost over £30, we may charge you for the cost of repair. Thankfully, our damage rate is incredibly low. We only rent items that do not damage easily. Of our 15,000+ rentals last year, we had to charge for fewer than 10.
