Welcome to Little Essentials Hire (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions outline the rules for using our website, hiring products, and accessing our services. By booking or using our equipment, you accept these terms in full. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. Service Overview
Little Essentials Hire provides short-term hire of baby and children’s essentials, including but not limited to travel cots, strollers, car seats, and other equipment. All products remain our property at all times.
2. Booking and Payment

Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or via email.

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

We accept major debit/credit cards and other approved payment methods.

Prices are displayed in Pounds and may be subject to change without notice.
3. Security Deposit
We will ask for proof of address and a form of Photo ID from clients prior to orders being sent
For certain items, a refundable security deposit may be required. Deposits will be returned once the equipment is inspected and found to be in good condition, minus any deductions for loss, damage, or excessive cleaning.
We may also conduct soft credit checks for certain items.
4. Delivery and Collection

We will deliver and collect equipment at the agreed times and locations.

Customers must be available to receive the delivery; missed deliveries may result in additional charges.

Any changes to delivery or collection times must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.
5. Condition and Use of Equipment

All items are cleaned, safety-checked, and maintained to a high standard before hire.

Customers must use equipment only for its intended purpose and follow the manufacturer’s guidelines.

You agree to take reasonable care of hired items and ensure they are returned in the same condition.

Any loss, theft, or damage is the customer’s responsibility and may result in repair or replacement charges.
6. Customer Responsibilities
By hiring equipment, you agree to:

Check items upon delivery and report any defects immediately.

Ensure equipment is used safely and appropriately.

Not attempt to repair or alter equipment without our consent.

Return all items on time as agreed at booking.
7. Liability

Little Essentials Hire is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages arising from misuse or improper handling of equipment.

Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the hire.

Customers are responsible for supervising children while using any equipment.
8. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made more than 7 days before delivery may be eligible for a refund, minus an administration fee.

Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of delivery may not be refunded.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 7 working days.

We may be able to, subject to availability change the delivery date of your order - with an admin fee of £8.00 the new delivery date must fall within 6 months of the origianl hire date.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will take effect immediately once posted on our website.
